A backyard visitor

Mark has been trying to trap a rabbit in our backyard these last few days.  When I came home from work today I checked the trap only to find an American Kestrel flying around.  I thought it was after the sparrows or trying to get in their nest.  Then I realized there was a sparrow in the trap and the kestrel thought it was dinner.  Who knows how long the poor sparrow had been stuck in the trap and how long the kestrel had been terrorizing it.  It was sort of neat to watch though!
